Update time (June 20, 2024) *Due to the length of this post, I'll cut it up into several sections. About missing for a while: I usually have all these things logged in on multiple devices (work phone, and laptop). However in my rush, I did not bring my work phone and apparently my laptop decided to log out this tg. Sometimes it happens on largely inactive accounts, especially when there are multiple tg updates in between. I had to rush home for a family emergency until everything was settled and I at least didn't need to do anything further. (long story short an important family member died and lots of affairs to be settled, legally, and outside of legality). Late last night, I got back but decided to get a bit of sleep first so I can respond to everyone and everything properly today. Definitely did not plan to disappear or rug this, as I was already working on this before being unreachable. I spent months on this without getting anything during the bear, and if I were to literally run away don't you guys think I'd bother to delete account or at least not have met up irl with some of you? Things definitely slowed down across the board, but even then there is no reason for me to "run away" regardless. On Roadmap/Future Plans: Largely, until I was still around, the plan was to do a v2 and try to run it up with marketing, etc. However, things largely delayed it as most of the LPs/VCs of the last run that I knew opted out of crypto already. This was the dead space in most of the bear market, that's what was happening then. Generally founders and decision makers don't share these things until it's been sorted or are looking for ideas, with a foundation of support to give people, in order to prevent panic. Eventually came to know a good one, and started building trust from there. This is the VC we've been talking about here for several months. Now, 250k has been pledged for the revival of the project. This is not sitting in my wallet. This is why even the first time I planned to launch, we had to delay because they were not fully convinced it was euphoria mode yet. With the chop we saw since then, I'd say bets were right and this is mostly just etf narrative and btc run before alts go on this cycle. At the end of the day, we are simply an alt, not a major, thus we have rules to play by here in terms of timing and predicting when *may* be the best time to launch. Nobody knows for sure, but we can always gauge things best we can. The roadmaps I've outlined in above pins were plans however plans can change, and roadmaps are not promises. Regarding the token, I do think it's still best to launch v2 first, and eventually introduce a way to merge WGOV into the v2 tokens (via exchange on LGCY network, and subsequent bridge for v2 among the networks). I am yet to catch up on all the news surrounding LGCY so if anyone wants to chime in, feel free or in my dm is fine as well. Going Forward: We will still move forward with a v2 and exchanging WGOV to v2 tokens when that part is ready (then when of it all, I won't quite know until all the parts are in place). I estimate v2 to be in about a month so we can at least do a bit of marketing KOLs on it (for hire, they will not have tokens) when ETH/microcaps are having a nice run. Mid to late July is an estimate for this, shortly after the ETF starts trading. Vesting is linear for 3 months so you will be able to sell into these pumps as well at least, for those looking to secure some profits/capital back. I know a lot of this anxiety is about that, but my stress comes from making sure we get the best bang out of the buck spent on these launches/campaigns. These things also take lots of time and effort so yes, my main goal is not putting that to waste in a shitty pnd.
